Ice fishing freshwater

We take a trip to one of the lakes on Kvaløya. We use ice fishing equipments mostly with mormyska and maggot. The most common catch is trout, but some of the lakes have a population of arctic char. We place a heated Sami tent close to the lake, in the tent we prepare a lunch that contains the catch of the day. The best time for this kind of fishing is normally February-April. The trip lasts for about 6 hours.
